After your Houston neck lift, you’ll need to remain at the facility for two or three hours for monitoring. After that, you can return home with someone else driving you. Ideally, a friend or family member should stay with you for the first night of your recovery.
You’ll experience some swelling, bruising, and soreness after the procedure, but these symptoms should start to gradually subside on their own.
Most patients require one to two weeks of rest and recovery before they resume their normal routines. For the first few days, you should keep your head elevated as often as possible to reduce swelling. You should also start taking light walks as soon as you feel up to it to keep your blood flowing and promote healing. Additionally, be sure to wait at least four to six weeks before you engage in strenuous physical activity or exercise.
